Menu Categories are the highest menu level inside Your Menu and group like items together.

Some examples of Menu Categories are:

  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Pizza
  • Snacks
  • Sandwiches
  • Cold Drinks
  • Breakfast
  • Lunch
  • Salads

To help understand how the Menu Categories work, below is an example Menu from an iPhone.  The red arrows are pointing to the Menu Categories.  You can see they are merely categories that group like Menu Items together.

Categories are the top tier of your menu structure and group like items (products) together such as the category of coffee.

From the 365cups screen go to -

Account Menu
      - My Menu 

From your available menus, select the menu you are building and select View items to the right of this menu


What I serve to my customers - here is where you enter your Categories.

 

Enter your menu Category in 'What do you serve?'

 Click Add

Continue to Add your categories to populate ‘What I serve to my customers’

Your categories append to a list that can be re-ordered, set to show/hide, Edited or Deleted

Re-order menu items by highlighting the category and clicking the arrows to move the item up or down the list.
Clicking the green circle toggles the menu to hidden and will display as .In the above example Bakery Items is not visible to your customers. To turn the display on simply click the red circle to toggle between display and hidden.

Click on Add itemsto add Menu Items to a Category
Click on Edit - enables you to modify the category label 
Click on Delete – removes  the Category (All its Menu Items will also be deleted)

Congratulations!  You've just added the first items in your menu.  Now that you have added some items you can do a few extra things with these:

Now go and add some Menu Items
